These links lead to fabulous resources for exploring our Digital Citizenship responsibilities.

it is important that Parents take the reins in this.

Here are some tools that will help no matter which category you choose.

Common sense media.  I use this website at home because it gives useful information about the quality of websites my children ask me to use.  I always check it out on this site.

Students if you choose a username and password to print then you will be able to save your progress.  It will not ask for an email address.  But will offer you the chance to print your password.

In class the 5th Grade Students are working to create an Internet Safety Presentation.  I also use the links above to build their background knowledge.

As the students move to 6th grade, it is very important that you continue to monitor their internet use.  Teach them how to manage their identity online.
