You should use this site to access some of the resources we use in class. There are links to internet games that provide extra practice. Sites that will build background knowledge and tools to help you remember what we have done in class. Check back often to see reminders and new posts.
You may wonder why we call this the ‘Wilderness’ Well, first, we are located in a portable unattached from the building. This enables us to experience the weather and enjoy the scenery various times throughout the day. This is a privilege that classrooms inside the building do not have.
Building on our unique experience, I learned that building a classroom community around a common experience helps enhance both learning and student behavior. So, the students and I have worked to develop a “Wilderness code of conduct”
